Category Manager - Airline

Purpose

The purpose of the Airline Category Manager role is to strategically manage the airline category within the TataNeu travel category to drive revenue growth, enhance customer experience and foster strategic partnerships.
 

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Category Development: Develop and execute strategic plans for the airline category, including pricing strategies, product offerings, and partnership development, aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Revenue Optimization: Analyse sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for revenue growth and margin improvement within the airline category.
  • Promotions and Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, marketing strategies, and advertising initiatives to drive sales and increase market share within the airline category.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of airline products and services, analysing key metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.
     

Experience and Qualification:

  • Experience working in the Travel Category will be critical
  • Min. of 3 years of experience
  • MBA or B.Tech from Tier I /Tier II institute
  • Strong data analytics and insight generation skills
  • Ability to engage and influence senior/critical stakeholders within and outside Tata Digital 
  • Candidates based in (or returning to) Mumbai will be preferred
